Hetzner Volumes are highly durable (triple-replicated Ceph, expand-only resize) but architecturally constrained to single-server use cases — single writer at every layer (Cloud API one-attachment limit, CSI RWO-only) combined with location binding and 10TB caps rules out shared-storage, distributed filesystem, and cross-location replication patterns natively.
