FTL2 provides comprehensive SSH readiness gating: `wait_for_ssh()` blocks with configurable timeout and delay until SSH is available, `wait_for` module checks arbitrary TCP ports as a generic readiness gate, and both serve as blocking preconditions before configuration commands are sent.
