FTL2 inventory is flexible and multi-source: auto-detects three formats (executable scripts, JSON, YAML), accepts Python dicts programmatically, uses Ansible-compatible connection parameters (ansible_host, ansible_user, etc.), provides built-in `all`/`ungrouped` groups, and uses a flat (non-nested) group hierarchy.
