Azure observability and security form a circular dependency that must be resolved simultaneously: monitoring depends on governance and identity for workspace access, DCR configuration, and data integrity, while the access-and-data protection planes depend on observability (Sentinel, Defender, alert processing rules) for threat detection and compliance verification — neither can be fully effective without the other.
