Azure zone-redundant HA is an instance of the platform-wide progressive tier pattern: just as ACR gates enterprise features behind Premium and Redis gates clustering behind Premium, zone redundancy is gated behind higher tiers across SQL Database (excludes Basic/Standard DTU), Redis (excludes Basic), and Event Hubs (requires Premium/Dedicated) — tier selection determines not just feature access but also resilience ceiling.
