Both AKS and App Service achieve fully encrypted secret lifecycle from platform key management through application delivery when combining platform-independent Key Vault integration with dual-layer FIPS-tiered encryption at rest and universal TLS in transit — unless AKS Kubernetes-native secrets expose an unencrypted gap in etcd storage.
